I'm Late White Rabbit Golden Filigree Charm Ring by HoolalaCupcakes by the Sugar Bun Sisters and all manner of goodies by the Tiger Lily Cakery should keep us going!

Lindyhop lessons at the Razzle Dazzle Travelling Vintage Fair!

We are really excited that Keith from http://www.feetsofamazement.com will be joining us at The Razzle Dazzle Travelling Vintage Fair in Failsworth on Sunday 11th December to teach us some Lindyhop moves!

You can sign up for a lesson with Keith in advance to avoid disappointment, no experience necessary!

After being a professional jazz pianist and university jazz combo & improvisation coach in his native Michigan, USA, Keith McGee was bitten by the Lindy bug after joining a friend's dance band and seeing the crazy fun frenzy on the floor. He has taught Lindy Hop, Balboa and Blues across North America, the UK, Continental Europe; and also DJs at high profile events throughout the year.

In 2003 Keith came to the UK, bringing in his baggage over a decade of international swing teaching expertise. He became one of the pioneers in the Swing scene in the city, which gained him the nickname "The grandfather of Lindy in Manchester, UK".
Keith doesn't hold to the idea of there being any "secrets" to dancing, seeing it as something that anyone can learn. He has a very fluid and dynamic teaching style aimed at finding solutions. While some people talk about "thinking outside the box", he throws out the box completely and empowers your creativity.

Come along and enjoy the music, shopping, cupcakes and the vintage vibe, only £1 entry!

Vintage China Hire and Events Styling

A natural progression for us, we feel, is our new venture, Pretty Vintage Events

If you dream of a vintage wedding, afternoon teas on the lawn or just fancy a vintage tea party with the girls, Pretty Vintage can help.

We offer a vintage china hire, fabulous flowers and event styling to make your day special and problem-free.

We have pretty table linens, bunting, beautifully mismatched china in faded florals, vases and sparkling glassware, just let us know your requirements and we will put a tailor-made package together for you. No two events are the same and everything is available to hire.

Please give us a call to discuss your requirements on 07711 318466 or email us.

A little background……

Jill had an 18 year long career as a freelance stylist and make-up artist, before opening Silk and indulging her passion for shabby chic and vintage homes. It was a natural progression to put the two together in order to provide a friendly and efficient event styling and china hire company.

Celia, ever enthusiastic about all things vintage, comes from a family of florists and following in their footsteps she now creates her own vintage style with flowers.

Went to the Village Vintage Fair in Stockport on Sunday, saw some great stuff, bought plates for my new venture (details coming soon), thinking of doing a stall there soon.

Danon jewellery coming in this weekend!

We're very excited as our new range of jewellery by Danon arrives on Friday. The range is made of silver-plated pewter and features their signature elongated hearts. I just need to make sure some of it goes on the shelf and not straight to my house!

Hello!

My very first post on my blogspot, I'm looking forward to sharing what's new and interesting in my world! I will try not to ramble on too much...
